I got a big drainage job we are going to be starting. I need to finish up the contract. My contract is setup for mostly hardscape jobs. Is their anything special you would put in a drainage contract? What type of warranty would you offer?
Job consist of 4 100'+ french drains. |

I would include something to cover your butt in case of 100 yr storms or torrential downpours.

I dont know what your area is like but I would make sure you had a rock and unforseen obstacles clause in there.
Last drain job like that I had I also had a clause that all water would be absorbed into drain system 48 hours after end of event, plus 100yr rain cycles were excluded. |

who designed the drainage project. If you designed it what if your pipe sizes are to large enough for the very heavy rain storms. If an engineer did the design then you can blame them if it does not work.
