Default Putting Green & Bunker

Working on a project involving a Putting Green and Sand Trap. I'm doing some research at the moment and was wondering if anyone had any tips regarding installation and design layout & size, as I'm not a golfer. I've been looking into the kits they sell on Tourlinks.com. Any other good sites out there?

Only ones I've installed have been on a real course.

Flatten out the area for the green, trench in finger drainage, 4" pea stone over entire area, ring with 18" of plastic, fill with 80% sand 20% peat mix.

Somehow I get the feeling you aren't looking for anything that complicated though.

Thanks Dan. We were thinking artificial. Something suited for residential application. In the 20x30' range.

Adam
A friend of mine installed putting greens they use the following product. I am sure you can speak with them and buy everything u need.
http://www.newyorkputtinggreen.com/

Check out the installation that CLC did with the putting green company. Some pics are attached on there facebook page

That was a temporary install for a show house.
Basically its like installing a paver patio. Same base. Use stone Dust to create the contours. They roll a basketball to study the slopes and breaks on the green. Then they fluff the green with a power brush and sweep in some sort of sand to keep the blades standing up. I am sure you can get the info u need on the site above. If you need more help I can have you speak with the owner directly.

Thanks Marc, that's awesome. Really helpful. Thanks for your help on the design as well. They loved it, but want to make it bigger. I'm working on revisions tomorrow and then we need to settle on a system.
