And no!

I just noticed it looks like there is a stone missing above the lion!

It's the angle of the photograghy! So I think! I was there for about 30 minutes today and didn't notice a missing stone, and I met with the owner for about another 30 minutes and he didn't say anything about a missing stone!

I do remember there being a glare coming off the lion when I took the picture, and I had to stand a certain way so the glare didn't show in the picture. I think the way the sun was shining and creating a glare is what's makin it look like a stone is missing!

We'll see...they're having company tomorrow!

Just looks like a darker blended stone to me. Nice work Andrew. That job turned out really nice.

Very professional looking job, really like the drain layout. What I like is the fact it will likely be one of a kind. I hate repetitive design work.

Andrew,

Is this the project with the wall you were mentioning in Matt's "fill" thread? Nice stone work.

thanks guys.

Zedo, actually the drain manufacturer just recently came out with fancier, more asthetically pleasing drain grates, better suited for residential applications. So it looks like the homeowner is in favor of switching them out.

Adam, yes this is the wall that I was referencing.

That was phase I. Phase II is the front of the home and is in the beginning design stages, which will entail plantings full of color, lighting, and possibly 5,000 SF of paver overlay on the driveway.
