We work in a few communities where yard signs are not allowed. So my way around such a covenant is I will use the skid steer as a billboard.

I will be adding lettering that says: patios, walks, drivways, outdoor living spaces, landscaping, retaining walls.

I will then get a brochure box and I will affix a magnet to the box. In the evenings we will park the skid steer by the sidewalk or street with the brochure box affixed to the the billboard.

I am not fond of the white background. I had this vinyl made back in November and just finally got around to putting it on the CAT. The people at the sign company were not any help in deciding the color. So I just pulled the trigger and said "do a white background". It could have been done way different and looked so much better. But oh well, it's just a skid steer, it'll suffice :)

Yeah I see that around here sometimes on skidsteers. Alot of guys put their numbers on the skidsteer arms. Might look into that with my newest new holland steal.

We did the same thing 4 years ago or so on ours skids and mini excavator. If anything it slows down those who would be interested in taking the machines due to the amount of lettering on them.

Yeah I got some stickers of my logo on my CAT also. You have as many broken lights on your as I do Drew !I like how Chesapeke construction paints ALL of their equipement red. Nice.

I've always had our logo on the arms of our machines. But the cool thing about CAT is that big flat space on the back!!!!

Josh - the broken light is what happens why you think you're a big bad logger and take the machine into dense woods to get timber!

I have a subdivision that does not allow signs. Matter of fact the last time i left a sign out, some lady from the HOA actually nabbed my sign and put it in her trunk. After i get my trailer wrapped i hope to have another job or two out there so that i can leave it parked out front. I would love to see her try to put that in her trunk.

The thought of buyin an enclosed trailer to do the same has crossed my mind as well.

But we don't treally need an enclosed trailer.

Procut -

I'm no New Holland fan, but MAN you have all kinds of space to broadcast what you're all about!

Have this done by the end of next week:

1) Go to Sears and buy a Heatgun
2) Go to your local NAPA store and buy a can of adhesive remover. (made by 3M but I think NAPA has their name on the can)
3) Heat up the L185 Decal and what appears to be the dealer decal and pull them OFF.
4) Spray some adhesive remover to remove the stickum.
5) Apply some lettering and make it known what you do!
