building planter boxes

I have a customer that would like to have some sort of planter boxes built into a hill side for a veg. and herb garden. box sizes 4'x12' there is going to be 5 total, my question is there anything else to use other that treated
6"x6" that would look good ? Ideas and pics are greatly
appreciated

you probably already did this one.
but you could use treated 4x4 or 6x6 posts
and then use that composite decking for the sides.
