Wow! That is one sweet weedwacker! How much did it cost you? Is it the 4mix? One day I hope to get me one of those! Sorry, just a little LS humor. Seriously, job looks great. I love the look of natural stone, I hope to do alot more wet lay this year.

The trimmer does make a nice decoration for the home! I bet I'll be a trend setter and others will follow suit!
Ok, now that hardscaping is becoming a hit, I am thinking that the next latest FAD will be natural stone used in hardscaping and less man made stuff!
You guys better start learning how to mix mortar! And you better start teaching your guys how to fit stone together, along with how to make consistant joints....with NO smearing!
It may be 2 years from now! But you just watch! Mark my words! REAL stone WILL be in.....and modular products WILL be out!

Nice, do you have any more photos?
The mason that I apprenticed with was a true believer that it had to be real stone. If I could only get some of are old jobs on digital now.

looks good Andrew. i cant wait to start construction on my house. i plant to do alot of masonry work on my own to refine my brick and mortar skill. i have done some brick laying and re-pointing. i would like to do some natural stone work like that too.
your wife must love the string trimmer decor, do u have a walk-behind hanging over the dinning room table too? J/K

i use the scag zero turn for my lazy boy and use the blower instead of a vacume. but that is just because i am living in my shed since my wife threw me out the house for spending to much time chatting with my ProHardscaper friends.
j/k, but she has threatend me with it once or twice.

Looks great. I think the natural stone trend is already in this part of the country. Most of my customers don't want the manufactured product.

andew i love the stone choice. overall theres good proportioning. great joint consistency as well. i hope you incorporate your talent in your hardscapes.one question, what did you use to anchor your brick ties.be careful the cmu's dont fracture.i use a little 22 loaded driver. nice work id like to see a bigger area.

I would love to learn about mortar and frost footings ! I have never wet layed any natural walls. Why don't some of you seasoned hardscapers school us.

We have some plans for another section of the site that will include construction vids. Hopefully by Spring, but we will see. Weather is always a factor.
