How important is getting a reversible plate packer. I have been renting a one way but considering buying a reversible. I know they are alot more money, but is it worth it? Never even used a reversible so I know nothing about them.

David, like most, I started my business renting plate compactors. Year two, I purchased my first compactor, which happened to be a Wacker 2540 (reversible that hits at 5600lbs. CF.)

If you can afford a reversible then absolutely they are worth the extra money for the convenience and ability to wack corners, more easily wack wall trenches, etc.

However, only you can decide if you are financially able to make the purchase.
