Have any of you guys ever used this product or a similar product?........http://www.fauxpanels.com/norwich-stone/styles-colorado-stacked-stone.php?color=28

I know, I know it goes against everything that is holy, but I have a large project coming up where this could be the solution to a small problem.

Mike,

We've never used any of this but I came across it while looking for a similar type product for my daughter's sister-in-law. What I don't like is that it is polyurethane, so I'm not sure how realistic it appears new, how it would weather outside, durability, etc. My wife and I saw a crew doing stonework on a restaurant a year or so ago and the were using a panelized concrete veneer stone. I didn't get the name at the time but should have. It was going up quick and neat and they were using adhesive. It was a dry-stack ledgestone type look.

In my search I came across this which does seem to be similar to what I saw being installed:

Of course, EP Henry makes the EZ-Fit Veneer stone, but the panel sizes aren't that big. Never used it either but have seen it diplayed at our distributor.

Hope that helps.

Terry

Thanks Terry. I actually started out quoting the EP Henry EZ fit, but I heard there were some problems with the color (I would need for this job) fading. Have you heard of any problems with Buckeye? Also, that's still a mortar application, right? I was also looking for some labor savings with the glue and screw type of application.

Mike,

Not familiar with Buckeye, but I would be interested in a website, etc. as I stated I'm looking for something for my daughter's s-i-l. I've heard the same for EZFit, but again no personal experience. Just installed about 300sf of EP Henry Ledgestone CVS on the bottom half of my daughter's house - 95+ degrees and 100% humidity - would have welcomed a 2' x 4' panel that could be quickly installed!!!!

The realstone systems product is a real stone product and not cvs, so I'm sure it is mortar only. Also, would think the price is high due to all the work required to slice the stone and mount it on the backing , haven't got that far yet.

Our distributor had nothing in any of his sources for any type of panelized product with the exception of EZFit.
