I know some of you may have seen this elsewhere, but I will post it here as well. This is a flame inlay we did. The strips in the pattern are for the customer to line his tires up w/ because the garage is very narrow. He has a '29 roadster in there........w/ flames on it!

How were the precise cuts in the pavers done? Sorry, not even the best can do that with a cut-off.

We used a table saw to get close then a 4" angle grinder to get closer then a 4" cup wheel to finalize. Just the inlay took 2 guys 6 hours.

Looks great! I wouldn't want to be the one putting out the $$$$ for that job though.

Chris, it looks good, I don't think i would have the patience to cut does falmes in, lol. Those cuts are nuts!!

those are great cuts...

whether you like the design concept or not, there is no arguing the quality of the work...

i like it by the way..

i am stealing the idea though.....lol

Looks awesome!I can see how you made the cuts,but,how did you gt the pavers to be a different shade of color?:noidea:

That looks great, this is the third time I have been to this thread to lust over those pictures. That kind of stuff takes some patience.

Yes the base is probably the most important part of a hardscape, but the cuts are what does it for me, its the first thing I look at on any job.

Great looking stuff.

Thanks James I appreciate it, but the real kudos go to my crew. I laid it out, but they did the hard part. I'm very lucky to have a foreman w/ an eye for detail.
