Anthony, could you explain how your dock lights are affected by salt-water exposure? Many of the docks here become completely submerged during extremely high tides. Are there any further steps involved to protect the system under these conditions?

Anthony, could you explain how your dock lights are affected by salt-water exposure? Many of the docks here become completely submerged during extremely high tides. Are there any further steps involved to protect the system under these conditions?

The 250 series Paver, Deck and Dock Lights are made from GE Lexan, and are completely sealed by ultrasonic welding. The socket and wire harness are protected by a boot, filled with dilectric grease. The connection to the secondary cable should be done with silicone filled wire nuts at each splice. This gives the system an IP67 rating.

All our products are UL listed for the USA and Canada , wet location-in grade. I've attached a spec. sheet from our UL file.

Also shown here, is a photo from the EP Herny MAHTS show in 2007. We placed a PL250 Paver Light in a fish tank for a week.
