The Evening Star DL250 series Deck Light (2-1/2" diameter) can be surface or recessed mounted into wood and composite decking boards as thin as one inch. A profile is drilled into the decking board using two different sized Forstner bits. The DL250 Fixture hardware is then permanently installed to the plank, and finished off by the installation of the Lamp Module.
The recessed installation is flush-fitting, devoid of raised trim. The 4 watt Lamp Modules are available in 10 colors, 100% water proof, cool operating and safe for bare feet.
