So whose block are you using? Why are you using it? What makes it better then other manufacturers block?

Which block would you NEVER use?

I use all unilock and belgard for pavers, and unilock, versa lok, and rockwood for walls. These are the main ones in my area there are some others but they seem to not be as strong. I have always had good luck with unilock and belgard.

All Pavestone. I have used others and I don't want to mention them but I have had great success with Pavestone Paver and Block over the others. It is truer to lay and setting blocks are easier with less to no shims.
I would have to say Allan Block I have used it on 2 Project and had a to much trouble with it breaking and inconsistent. I will not use it again. Took to much time to work with.

I really like Versa Lok block. They're heavy but easy to work with. I like UniLock second and I would probably never use Pavestone. Belgard isn't that great either in my opinion.

LOL, it's unanimous! No one likes AB (shhh, don't tell Mike33)

We started with AB. Everyone around here uses it. We're no longer offering it. Between the quality issues and the corners, I walked away from it for good.

I like Techo-Bloc for the high end stuff, especially Quarry Stone. We've switched to Anchor as our more economical choice for walls. Belgard is also junk around here if manufactured by Old Castle.

Techo or Unilock for pavers. Maybe some Bolduc. Haven't used that for a while though.

edit: I'd love to try Versa-Lok but they're too far away.
