I know JZap started a thread on this a while back...wondering if anyone had a chance to try it out. Thinking about using it on my current job along with the Unique Vangaurd lights we are using.

I'm not sure I get it. they say all lights have even voltage distribution. for one or more lights. has three different fuse sizes to adjust your output. But if you read the installation instructions it says not to attach more than 5 lights per hub. So now you have to buy all these hubs and buy a specific transformer. I guess if you plan on having a more flexible lighting system this makes sense. Are you looking at this for ease of maintenance

Steve, I was looking for a way to minimize the amount of wiring I had to run within my block work and we are installing Unique lights and transformer already. Decided to just go with a standard hub / homerun wiring. We are only doing 12 lights, so it's not so bad. The intellihub still sounds interesting.
From the main hub, you can also power satellite hubs which can power an additional set of 5 lights. With one 24v line coming off the transformer, you can essential daisy chain your hubs with the fuses there to regulate the output and minimize drop.

Just took the two day certified landscape lighting installer class offered by unique. Great class and alot of info. The 24 volt intelli hub system definately looks like a huge time and money saver. I highly recommend anyone who dabbles in lighting to take this class. Was 300 for class and 150 for test/cert.
