Where has everyone gone. It seems like the number of post and new threads have dropped off big time. Has everyone hit a busy point. I would think everyone ought to have some free time to talk about something worthy. oh well, the site is looking good Chris. I know at least you will see this. LOL.

My guess would be that everyone is trying to get as much work done before the big snows roll in. I noticed that too though SC.

I was busy doing snow work all day. Just got in. That was about the slowest inch we've ever had.
Middle of the week is always slow.

Mike,
nice to get an inch, they forecasted that for us and we got 3"-5". Would be nice if they got it right once in a while.

We are still scaping. Got some boulder work to do, patio/pergola repair, some brick work and couple other odds and ends. Perhaps even some planting. Supposed to climb into the low fifties next week. Personally, I think we are just having a little cold snap and the start of winter will feel more like fall, but we'll see how it goes.

I like when that happens, about three days after it happens.
While it's happening....:yell:

How often have you gone out cleaning?? I had to go out 5 times already this season to my monthly clients. Only 2 of snow falls were 4-6", the others 1-3 but 3 days straight

hey, how about educate a non snow getting guy from the south. Why doesn't anyone like using a tracked skidder to move snow vs a wheeled one? around here, if i piss in the soil, you can sure bet a wheeled unit will get stuck. What makes it different in snow?

For us, wear on the tracks. All of our snow sites are 0 tolerance, curb to curb. Much of the work performed by the skid steers is performed after the pickups are done (cleaning corners, curbs, etc.) By the time the pickups leave, most of the lots are black. Running and turning the tracks on black, means more wear.
It is a lot more expensive to replace tracks than it is to replace tires.

Gotcha, i thought maybe it was a traction issure. I figured tracks would get better tracktion, but i guess the bottom dollar rules and tracks are out.

#1 - It's Christmas season. Family and Holidays usually are more important than sittin infront of the computer looking at what a bunch of old men with no lives have to say :)
#2 - Some here have families! Kids that are ignored by parents usually end up being criminals. Thus, we must be apart of their lives each and every day. :)
#3 - oh......nevermind!
