Integra in step downs

I am getting ready to install the lighting in the job I am currently doing. This is my first time with Integra lights. I am using techo mini creta but I have a few step downs. How do you guys run the wire? Drill down in the block?

On the one side there is 2 ft. of wall exposed.

then you'll have to drill down.

Joe, it's always best to account for the lighting as you construct your walls and you can drop in conduit through each course of block to get your lead wire in. For under the cap, you can cut a "V" channel and just run the wire in it.
