One of our masons did some pointing up on a masonry grill cabinet and while cleaning the work up with a bit of acid has gotten some stains on a stainless cabinet door. Does anyone have any experience with cleaning this. We have tried stainless appliance cleaners without success. May try tarnex or something like it. Suggestions?

It's probably corrosion more than staining. Maybe try some kind of scratch filler compound and buff it out.

I had a guy put a bottle of muriatic in the back of my truck a few years ago and the lid wasn't on all the way. It ended up spilling over and ate through the shaft on my brand new $450 stihl FS multi attach weedwhacker. I was so pissed. It ate clean through and ruined a rake and shovel at well. Luckily I had a bed liner.

Nothing that I know of. We ate a pair of doors, same reason last year. Luckily they were separate from the actual grill. You can ask any of my guys, plastic stays on till EVERYTHING is finished.

We figured this out actually. 600 grit sandpaper and a direct flow of water from a hose. We cleaned it up, looks like the stains never occurred. Went over it w/ WD40 afterwards.
