can you add a channel drain to an existing concrete driveway?
If yes how do you go about doing it?
I figured lay it out and mark then cut with demo saws, take out debris install drains and pipe to whereever you want the water to go.

I forget the brand name but we have used drains with pitch built in to them so you wouldn't have to pour new concrete.

The proablem is getting the drain in with a tight fit. I tried to this with pavement last year i need figure out how I am going to fit this proablem when it warms up.

can you capcon the sides to keep from heaving?
use caulk to tighten the gaps?
I dont to have them spend a fortune, when a catch basin
will work just fine.

I think the best product is Polycast. http://www.polycastdrain.com/ They have a presloped invert to there drains so the grate can be level.

This is a link for duraslope/nds...I have installed these with great success, I wouldn't say they are the best because I haven't had hands on experience with polycast. I took the NDS course at MAHTS last year and they have great support and I have been happy with their products.... and duh....they are sloped so you can install them level or not if need be.

Check this website for all your hardscape drainage needs. I saw them this week at a trade show and was real impressed with the quality.
