Natural Stone Section

Most of the people in the forum work strictly with pavers. I think we should have a section devoted to natural stone work. A place where people can share ideas and teach others how to work with natural stone. I would also love a area for people just to show off natural stone work.

We have been talking about this very thing. I didn't want to dilute the site, but it may be the concensus to add the forum. We will work on it. Thanks for the input

On one hand i like the idea separating out a bunch of different subjects, but the reality is, I don't think that there is an insane amount of trafic that having natural stone, wall block, pavers or any other "Hardscaping" topic all under the same section. The bad thing about separating things out is that If you don't do much natural stone work, you may spend most of your time in the paver forum and miss out on an opportunity to either learn something new or help another member with a question. I would keep things simple and keep the number of sections to a minimum so that everyones post get the full attention of the group.

If you had members posting in excess of 6-8 threads per day about Natural Stone, I could see it.

Maybe having a section devoted to natural stone work would make others think of joining. I think some people coming to this forum think its all about pavers and are not interested and never come back.
