700 Members!

We've reached 600 members! It's just proof of how a simple idea can evolve into a community. Thank you Chris and Mike for making this site a reality that is growing bigger every day.

600 is a big number, but how to we multiply that number 10 fold?

Obviously statical numbers don't mean much if you don't have quality members who can contribute and benefit from the exchange of information and who see benefit in the opportunity to network with those in their field. I think what makes this site so great is the fact that we have such a great group of core members who, unlike other sites, are more interested in helping each other get better, than tearing each other down.

I'm curious how most of you found the site? Do you guys have any suggestions for increasing membership even further? What would you suggest for reaching other contractors in your area?

EDIT - 3/14/09 to 700. We grew 100 members in 2 months!

So I did and here I am.

Googleing "hardscape Forum". This came up second at the time LS was first looked at that and it didnt really appeal to my style.

I was also poached from LS. funny thing is...I used to think it had some merrit, then when you get to know everyone on here you find out how bogas they really are.

My suggestion for the site is keep it simple. it is great to have a lot of members, but like it was said earlier, it is nice knowing that a large majority of the members here have experience behind their post and except for one person, there really isn't any egos around here...LOL Ol' Rusky has changed a lot from the first post i read a few years back.

Its great here, even though I don't spend alot of time on it, I always check in a couple times a day. Love the new job pictures that show up evey now and then, we need lots more of them to keep the blood circulating. Heres to 600 members:cheer2:

I found the site on a google search. I too have learned so much and gained great inspiration from the pictures. I used to shy away from forums before because most of the material never seemed credible. This site has a good core of talented people and we even have some fun with the bad boys(Koot & Ruski)

That's exactly what we want. We want this site to continue to be a place where you are able to obtain useful, reliable, credible information (without the dilution of the other site) and have a few laughs as well.
