I just wanted to create a place to post winter pics. I'm curious to see how much snow is in other parts of the country. I'd love to see every one's snow equipment too. We haven't had more than 3 inches all season. Next big storm I'll take some pics.

This is from March last year, now that is a snowman. We get this much snow every 2-3 years.

All we got was a dusting this year. Of course the media tried to make a big deal out of it and told everyone that we were expecting 4 to 5 inches.

Taken last March, we just missed the snowfall record of 430 centimeters by 5cm.

Adam it may have been a measly 3" but it was light and fluffy. I make just as much plowing 3" as I do 6" of the wet heavy stuff.

Yeah, me too. Trust me, I'm grateful for any snow we get. I just wish it was more than one or two storms a winter. I've lived here my whole life and the past 3 years have been some pretty pathetic winters. It's hard to count on winter income. There's about 2 months left....we may just get a big one yet.

I love the last picture, it reminds me of my son. We always dress him up like that when it is cold, A Christmas Story comes to mind.

I'm jealous. My son is 3 1/2 and I've been praying for one dump of snow. I want to take him sleding so badly

Here is my little lady. As you can see in the background there is no need to break out the snow shovels down here.

The latest storm we received a total of 13.5"
This measuring stick was over the 13.5" mark, but had settled at the time this photo was taken.
Now it’s time to shovel the roof off.

How do you shovel a roof without sliding off.

There is somewhat of a grip on the shingles, but in my case the snow is only 4' from the top of the house, so I just jump off when I'm done.

Never mind falling off. How do you start pushing four feet of snow off your roof?
