Here is a dry stack natural stone wall we did. I thought it turned out OK. My original plan was to "Zedo" it with boulders, but access was an issue. Sorry about the phone pics

I wouldnt of ran the down spout pipe out of the wall.

The neighboring property is literally a foot from the outside edge of the stepper, so I didn't have room to daylight it there. The stone is called West Mountain

I have no idea where i would of ran it. But I am sure the way you ran it was the best solution for the situation.

How bout cut the pipe a little short, cut a hole in the side of the pipe and put stone in front of the pipe to hide. Use a bit of mortar to tie it all together and direct water out.

There are larger deadmen running back into the infill. I also completely back filled with clean stone.
