raised patio

Hi,
While I am posting tonight I figured I would throw in one more job. This is a raised patio that I built some sitting walls into. It's hard to tell from pics but there is a heavy slope from driveway to end of house. By the way I like to use Cambridge & Concrete Stone & Tile products.

Work looks good. Laying could have been a little more blended and consistent. What are you using for base under all this? Geotextile separation fabric too?

Yes I use Geotextile under everything(Mirafi 500). We have a base material around here called 42q. Compacts like a rock and is very easy to level. Astm approved.

Are you just using pavers to cap your pillars???

Yes I do mostly, custumers like how it matches the patio and the fact that it is unique. It looks especially nice using a tumbled paver like in this patio.
