Here is the second step job. I wish I would of taken pictures of the before for this one. The customer had ground level decking that looked like just skids going to the front door.

why not put that gutter drain underground to a pop-up box in the yard? That takes away from the nice job

Also why not wrap your soldier course around the circle.

Joey - Looks good. My only criticism is that your border radii look a bit choppy. Do you overlay and cut in place?

Next time take your soldier course Joey and wrap it around the circle. Don't cut it up like that, you'll see a big differance in overall quality. Steps are a bit small for my liking, I would of come off the corners of the house and made the front step the full width. Keep at it!

Chris,
I overlay & mark with a marking tool. You are right the back edge looks a little choppy. I have went back though & seeded along the edge, the grass is now grown in & it looks good.

What works good for us is taking a piece of 1/2" electrical conduit and using that to trace out a curve. Snap edge also works good. It helps to alleviate the choppiness.
