We've had some great support from some of the sponsors' on here (mainly Allied and Woodward). How can we get some other companies in our industry to actually post comments on our threads instead of just skimming them? There is plenty for both sides to gain from sharing ideas and getting feedback from each other.

great question JZ. Therein lies the problem. We can't make people participate. I think the informational support we get from Allied and Woodwards is great and I wish all of our sponsors were as active, but again we can't force people to post. This site is quickly becoming the foremost stop for quality, no BS information. Our membership is top notch and consists of some of the most talented hardscapers and designers around. The more quality info we post, the more participation we will gain. Let's keep it up. Thanks

I personally enjoy watching the site and putting my two cents in whenever I think my comments could be beneficial.

Getting used to the site took a few visits, so that could slow some of the vendors participation.

I would suggest directing a specific question to a specific vendor. As they get more confortable with the site, you may see some more participation.:boink:

Over the winter, I plan to make some fairly major changes to our store and create a real "showroom". I am looking for input from contractors on what would help you sell projects....what can I do to my showroom to help you sell projects to your customers.

Also, what materials can you not find that you want to see your supplier sell.

Any input I can get will help me to ensure I am meeting your needs and making your day that much easier.

Thanks Chris. We appreciate your input and I'm sure we will come up with some ideas

True, true, Chris, I appreciate the info Woodward and Allied contribute to the site. Maybe others will take action from their good example of how helping each is other is good for business.
