A guy I know who works for one of our competitors says he knows the guy that built this. He asked him why it was it was built that way and the masons response was..."because I could". Basically he was saying I have the talent to do this so I did. Phenomenal work! Every time I drive by it now I have to slow down and just stare at the details of it. The first time I saw it at 50mph [I] nearly went off the road. I thought to myself, "did I just see a wall that twisted? No ...no way in hell" I drove by it again and there it was

Yeah if I saw that, first reaction would be "what screwed up potion did they put in my coffee this morning... I swear the wall twisted"

whomever built this I think was way beyond a good mason...I'd love to see more of his work that's for sure!

I've heard about the wall. I've also heard the guy that built it is considered the best stone mason in Wolfcity.

now tell me, it's it dry stack?

I haven't looked at it up close Mark. It's on private property. Do you know who built it?

That is really insane. Never would have thought about even attempting something like that and if done correctly you could do it dry. Very remarkable.

Is the ability to work with stone a Litmus test at some age up there? Like they test you and if you can't fit two pieces together they eliminate you.:)

Beautiful work.

serves ya right.

I put down a little bit today, about 4 hours or 50 ft2. Big pieces with a little help from Tam.

grade to the house? yeah, I'm only doing one step up, so it'll be 15" from grade.
