Looks good. I'm not a big fan of the symmetry pavers myself. It's like an optical illusion, but whatever the customer wants right? haha.

I personally like them. We did the same at my house. I have a lot of people ask me if its really hard to lay. I dont think it is.

The raised patio was almost a disaster. Half way through the height was changed from 12" to 15". One guy working on the wall had no clue how to use a level and so the wall is not perfect but it is close. It was also the first set of step we have ever done.

Only thing that really sticks out to me is the hole in the wall left of the steps.
Other than that looks good. The symentry looks like the colors could have been blended better by picking from different parts of the pallets or multiple pallets.

Thanks. I agree with the blending but it was only a pallet and band of symetry and a band and half of squares. It really became noticable when we swept the poly sand.
The wall was not the best but the homeowner seemed to be happy with it. If I could do it over I would.

I fully understand in situations like I tend to lose some production by having one guy go through the pallet and a band and mix them up when bringing them to layer.

Justin,
I like the sign wall. Nice job. The patio looks okay.....my main criticism would be the landscape. The beds are too mounded, the mulch looks too thick and there is no exposed edge. First big rain and a lot of the mulch will wash into the yard. Also, there is no way to get from the patio to the yard, but I'm assuming you are adding some steppers?
Sorry to beat you up about the landscape. If you can get the soft stuff up to par with your good work on the hardscape, it will really help to showcase all the effort.
BTW - why was the height changed on the raised patio?

Sign looks great. The patio not so great. The step caps should really be cut so you had a full one in the middle and the two outside ones the same width. It lokks like the patio slopes down hard over the last two feet, is that an illusion? The soldier course needs to be cut at angles in the corners where they meet.

Nice sign!!! The softscape needs some touch up. Dig a deeper more defined edge it will look a lot cleaner. When mass planting (like the grasses) best to use odd numbers it just lays out nicer. ...Dude it takes balls to post on this site hats off to you!

Adam- She thought the wall was to short after seeing it. Thanks for the advise on the landscape and they are buying two pcs of flagstone for each side.
Vic - I think its an illusion. I agree with the solider corners and we have started to from that job forward. Thanks for the advise on the caps.
Larry- Thanks. Its hard to tell but the grasses are in groups of three.
Everyone - Thanks for the comments on the sign. We did that in Dec. It was my first time every dealing with wall block and so far its been the best wall we have made. It is a Techo Wall and I liked the tolerances alot better than the EP henry.
More job pics to come.

what colors are those? I can see autumn in the soldier, harvest in the symetry....is that dakota in there as well? Here is a pic using atumn, pewter and harvest with a charcoal soldier....busy I know, but the homeowner is a busy minded guy;)
