This is part of "Bedrock"......This was actually the first feature we worked on last October but were not able to activate because we had to wait on burying the 1000 gallon tank to hold the water until construction through the area was finished. Pictures don't do it justice, but I was excited to see it run for the first time today.

Thanks.....We've been fortunate on this job because there are 97 acres of old farm land with miles and miles of old farm walls. With them came massive piles of boulders that were pushed off the fields into piles and left behind. So, as we were working we found all these piles and were able to work with them. They are as perfect as you can get when it comes to boulders....large, aged with moss/lichen, crazy looking shapes to them from the weather, etc. We found some that are so big that nothing on site can lift them and there is a lull that has over a 10,000 lb lifting capacity. HO wants them moved though so we'll bring in something??? to handle them at some point.

looks awsome.
only one problem in my opinion..... need a bigger pump for moe water flow.
wish I could get a job looking that nice though!

Like I say pictures just don't do it justice. The pump is pushing 150 gallons per minute. It's hard to see from the photos just how much depth of water there is through the stream. It actually goes under a stone bridge and then drops about 5' in elevation very fast and then pools in a large area goes under another stone bridge and continues to the tank where the river bed fades out into nature. I tried to do a video of it but for some reason my computer couldn't open the file. The sound of it is more than I ever thought it would be

A video would be the ticket. I'm sure that's the only way to do it justice. It would be nice if you could post it to youtube and put the link here.

I've never uploaded personally, but it seems pretty straight forward. You just have to register, then click the upload button. Give the video a name and description, then browse to where you have it on your pc and hit upload. I would be nice if we could utilize sites like youtube more as a community. It would be nice to see video of people's jobs, because like you said, pics just don't do justice sometimes.

That's sweet Mark....what a project. Agree with Adam on the video.

Are you going to stay on as the groundskeeper/whatever you want to call it when that project is completed?:)
