standard irregular blue walkway installed in 2 days which included base prep and drainage work. Intent was to give the feeling of a rustic/natural path into the secondary entrance into the home and garage. Total install time for site work, stone work and plantings was 4 days. Joints were all tight fit and cut with grinders and chisels. Joints are filled with sandlok. A very minor difficulty in installing this were the grades that were given to us. The mortared landing was set, the driveway was set and sloping so the one entry to the walkway was 5" higher at the drive than the second entry was at the drive. This left the lower side sloping 12" from the landing and the higher side sloping 7". The higher side slopes down to the lower which means the water flows from the drive over the high side down to the lower side and then back down to the driveway. I was very uncomfortable installing this this way but it worked great. Planting bed erosion even in very heavy rainfalls was and has been zero. Did that make sense??? I'll re explain if I need to. Here's a before, closeup and full scope pic

Alright Mark. In light of the fact that nobody else wants to participate, I'm going to go against protocol and submit an entry. I have no doubt that your company is superrior to mine with regard to working with natural stone, but.....I have an entry that is respectable.

Hey guys, lets keep the chat to a minimum. This is a photo based contest and as members begin to vote, it makes it difficult to wade through the banter to get to the photos. Thanks.
