By far this is my greatest accomplishment. We did a little photo shoot with a local photographer this morning.

Whats the verdict??

Matt the photographer chose decent lines to shoot, but the pics themselves need some work. I took the first one into photoshop and tweaked the exposure, saturation and color levels and it looks much better. Still not perfect....but not bad for 2 minutes of retouch work.

Job looks awesome by the way.

arb row & hosta row, I think are very boring plant choices, and I hate the grass in hard-to-mow areas... I think you can do much better, although I do think the pictures are nice.

Matt, I think it looks great. I agree with Mark on the plants and fading marble, but I recall you saying the plans were from the designer. Craftsmanship looks mint and clean. Did you do the coping or just the deck? Is that limestone coping?

We did not select the planting plan. I belive there are only 8 different types of plants on the ENTIRE job. Thats the look the customer wanted.

Overall I am impressed with the photos. Things look alot different in a picture then when your standing there. I am going to use these pictures for now, but I do want to reshoot the site. Now I have alot of different ideas for shots. I do not think we reached anywhere near the potential with these shots.

Very nice...only critique is i don't like the dark travertine joints....why is that...

the porta potty added a certain ambience....will surely be missed.

The joints have brown techo sand in them. The joints should be tighter, but the inconsistences of the stone caused some issues... So did laying it 3 times.

Matt, is that the job where at one point you had to pick up the pieces and install grass joints?

You mean the job where we had to pick up half the patio and relay with 1 inch joints and plant grass? Then remove all the grass and plant sedum. Then remove the sedum and return the patio to its original form.

Wow. I didn't know all of that took place. I bet you are glad to see a "finished" pic.
